City Ridge

CITY RIDGE

WASHINGTON, DC | City Ridge is a 10-acre mixed-use development of the former Fannie Mae campus in Washington D.C. The project includes 700 residential units and 200,000 square feet of commercial space integrated with the preservation and reuse of the Colonial Revival architecture of the former headquarters for the nonprofit education foundation International Baccalaureate (IB). The green, park-like frontage along Wisconsin Avenue was brought to life with three 65-foot tall, 600,000-pound preserved oak trees relocated onsite. The project enjoys semi-public garden courtyard spaces and a pedestrian-centered, shared-street urban plaza with outdoor dining and interactive fountains. This once sparsely developed landscape provides a vibrant contribution to the neighborhood.
