The Baltimore National Aquarium, Center for Aquatic Life and Conservation    Baltimore, Maryland

The Center for Aquatic Life and Conservation will integrate site and buildings to support animal care, conservation, and education. The design will address storm water while neutralizing polluted areas and restoring the waters edge. Site remediation will enhance the historic site ecology and create a hydrological demonstration garden, which will include restored wetlands, storm water retention, and a mounded knoll with a wind turbine.
