MVLA understands the importance of making vital places that nurture academic and social life while improving a site’s context and revealing its natural ecology. We integrate many aspects of campus life into an articulate, cohesive whole: plantings, geology, architecture, circulation, site furnishings, and social and cultural identity. Most often our academic work evolves through a series of master plans and on-going projects. Our work is highly valued for the conception of places that are familiar, memorable, and enduring.
