Columbus School of Law and University Center, The Catholic University of America Washington, DC
Columbus School of Law and the University Center represent phases I and II of a sector plan for the lower campus of The Catholic University of America. MVLA organized the site from a careful analysis of and response to adjacent patterns of development. The result is a more coherent campus oriented around student and faculty interaction. The open space network of the project, as defined by the new quadrangle, courtyard, topography and orientation, creates the framework for future growth and strengthens the underlying order of the Campus.
